51 Car Accident

On Saturday afternoon in Málaga, Spain, a lorry, or a huge truck, hit a post and spilled gasoline all across a major highway, creating a slippery route for other drivers. Cars driving in the other direction, unaware of the oily road, did not slow down, resulting in an enormous chain accident in the San José tunnel. There were 51 vehicles involved altogether, but, luckily, no serious injuries. Only three people needed to go to a hospital, and only 12 injuries total were reported. Heavy rain was most likely the original cause of the accident. The pile up contributed to a lot of traffic throughout the day, since the road was not completely cleared until 10 pm!
